Have you noticed more stories about family caregivers in the news lately? This past year, publications are tripping all over each other to capture the “family caregiver” story. Now, the “paid caregiver” is coming into the news — and like family caregivers — that news is hard to swallow. Typically paid minimum wage, but expected to work in high-wage areas, the paid caregiver is the next frontier for change: liveable wages. Read the story in The New York Times.
